I was so nervous that I acutally didn't think to take pictures until near the end of the seder. I didn't get to get a picture of Helen, my friend Martha's daughter, who found the Afikomen. At the begnning of the seder, a piece of the Matzo is hidden and one of the kids has to find it and they get a price. Helen got a cute towel that's compacted down to the size of a card and when you put it in water it expands into the full size...very cool.
We had tons of food and soooo much wine. Almost everyone was there and it felt great to enjoy the day with my friends. Of course, since then I'm dying for a piece of leavened bread but that's another blog. Here's the rest of the pictures. I wish I had taken more, something for me to remember next year.
The last two pictures were taken after everyone had left. I sat down on the sofa that we'd moved into the spare bedroom to make room in the living room and the view was nice. I thought it was a perfect picture of how I felt. I was spent and tired but I felt warm and lit up inside :)
